Moloney Shines in rebel County

Action in the FBD Munster 1.20M Speed series moved to Co Cork for the Cork Summer Show on June 10th, 48 horse and rider combinations tried their hand at the Tony hurley designed track with 29 of the combinations making it through to the second phase.
It was Dungarvan man Peter Moloney who claimed the winners share of the prize fund with the Ann Veale Foran owned Ballyconery Wood, the pair were clear in a time of 34.91, coming in closely behind to fill the second spot was Cork man Philip Horgan aboard his own seven-year-old gelding Amigo, the pair were clear in a time of 35.08
Claiming the third spot was Gerard Clark, riding the John Buttimer owned grey gelding JB Master Glen Bar, they were clear in a time 35.46. filling the fourth place was the combination from West Cork Gillman's Point owned by David O Regan and ridden by Cathal O Regan, they broke the beam in a time of 36.76 and clear.
Coming in to claim the fifth spot was Ciara Barrett, riding the Carol Barrett owned grey gelding Tavira, they were clear in a time of 37.74, Claiming the sixth and final spot in the lineup was Selina Braddish with her own Willemijn, the pair crossed the line in 38.49 and clear.
Action in the FBD Munster 1.20M Speed series moves to Co Limerick for the next leg at Newcastlewest before coming back to Co Waterford for Dungarvan Show on July 28th.
