On Thursday last the 9th of April in a sun swept Mc Kee Barracks, the Launch of the TRM/Horseware National Grand Prix and the inaugural presentation to Showjumping Irelands Roll of Honour recipients.
As Showjumping is celebrating 60 years in existence this year, Munster man and national Chairman Tony Hurley, along with the national executive committee decided to nominate 60 people to honour, who’s contribution has shaped and developed Showjumping Ireland over the past 60 years.
Speaking at the event last Thursday in Mc Kee barracks national Chairman Tony Hurley had this to say “This is an historic day for the Association as we honour those who have given outstanding service and dedication to Showjumping Ireland over the past 60 years. This is the first honouree presentation and we look forward to those who will be enlisted to the Roll of Honour over the coming years’’.
